Tooth Replacement

Dentures & Partial Dentures

Dr. Buttaro has two types of dentures available for the replacement of missing teeth. Full - or complete  - dentures are used to replace full sets of teeth. When some natural teeth are still present partials can be used. Partials can be helpful to keep your remaining teeth from shifting.

Implants can also be used in conjunction with full and partial dentures. As any denture wearer knows, they can come with restrictions and frustrations. But implant-supported dentures can bring back a secure smile while eating want you want in between.

An adjustment period is often obligatory for new dentures. Soreness and chewing difficulty might be experienced, but will subside as you and your mouth become familiar with the dentures.

Dentures can last many years, but due to aging, wear, and possible bone loss, and will need to be readjusted or remade over the years.
